Who we are

PartLedger is operated by Markeith Griffin, who is the data controller for personal data processed through the service.

Data we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, login credentials, Google sign-in profile) — to create and secure your account (contract performance).
• Saved content (garage vehicles, estimates, alerts) — to provide the service (contract performance).
• Subscription status — to unlock your plan's features (contract performance).
• Usage and device data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) — for security, fraud prevention and product improvement (legitimate interests).
• Support messages — to respond to you (legitimate interests).
• Marketing emails, if you opt in (consent, which you may withdraw any time).

Who we share it with

• Service providers who host and operate the app (hosting, database, authentication).
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of plans, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as legal and accounting.
• Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed for legal and accounting obligations. When no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA; EEA/UK residents may also complain to their supervisory authority. We respond to requests within one month. Your data may be processed in the United States; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and track free-plan lookup limits. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear these in your browser settings, though some features may stop working.
