Terms of Service
Last updated: October 14, 2026
1. Who we are
PartLedger is operated by Markeith Griffin ("we", "us"). By using PartLedger you are entering into an agreement with Markeith Griffin.
2. Acceptance
By accessing or continuing to use PartLedger, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be of legal age, or have authority to bind the organization you represent.
3. The service
PartLedger provides car part price references, valuations, price history, alerts, comparisons and estimate tools. Prices are market estimates for general reference only and are not quotes or guarantees; always confirm with your supplier or repair shop.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and you are responsible for activity under your account.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, including:
- using it for any unlawful purpose;
- fraud, spam, or impersonation;
- infringing anyone's intellectual property;
- interfering with security, introducing malware, probing systems, or scraping data;
- reverse engineering, reselling, or redistributing the service, or circumventing usage limits.
6. Intellectual property
Markeith Griffin retains all ownership of PartLedger and its intellectual property, including software, data compilations, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan.
7. Payments and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, renewal, taxes, cancellation and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled; cancelling keeps access through the end of the paid period. See our Refund Policy.
8. Service level
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that pricing data will be accurate or complete. The service is provided "as is", and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or data. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your saved data may be deleted.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms; continued use means acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
